A new approach to dynamic authentication
Fact check in advance:
In English, the term “authentication” often covers two closely connected steps in the identity verification process. The user proves who they are, and the system checks whether this proof is valid. In German, these steps are often distinguished as “Authentisierung” and “Authentifizierung”.
dopeIN® starts with the user's authentication act. The method resolves the classic 1:1 entry of an authentication code and replaces it with dynamic input codes.
While many conventional methods rely on static passwords, PINs or codes, dopeIN® creates the input code from a task that the user solves according to individually defined rules.
This creates three central advantages:
- Increased resistance to spying: An observed input is not automatically the stored authentication code.
- User-centricity: The human being is actively integrated into the security process, without necessarily requiring a second device or biometric data.
- Adaptability: The method can be adapted to different security requirements, roles and use cases.
dopeIN® is therefore not just another static login factor, but a dynamic authentication principle that can complement and extend existing security architectures.
